There has recently been a great increase in demand for holidaying in rural parts of the UK. A new set of affluent visitors with high expectations in terms of quality and design have discovered the countryside and they are planning to return. They are attracted by the natural beauty of rural areas of the UK and their desire to find spaces that will facilitate an immersive reconnection with nature, be it for wellness, adventure sports, off grid living or simply to get away from the stresses of everyday life. However, more discerning visitors are put off by the limited designs of mobile holiday accommodation units, and the negative impact they have on the landscapes where they are located. This means that the amount that site owners can charge their customer is limited. Castan Cabins Ltd is our solution.
Inspired by the wealth of opportunities presented by the Welsh countryside, our cabins have been designed to be practical with rural holidaying in mind, yet sensitive to our beautiful natural landscapes.
A series of customisable modules offer customers more than just the everyday glamping experience, whilst the use of natural materials and considered design create a unique appearance.
Mark Waghorn and Owen Wallbank, who are experienced Architects from West Wales set up the company in 2022. They are passionate about protecting precious natural environments but have been dismayed at the poor quality of most mobile holiday accommodation in rural parts of the UK. They have made it their ambition to prove that mobile accommodation, far from ruining beautiful natural settings, can actually enhance them.
